Madison County Sheriff’s office units were involved in a high-speed pursuit of a fleeing subject/vehicle last night through the Union City area. The subject reportedly crashed the vehicle somewhere in the vicinity of Union City and Red House Roads.
The driver, 33-year-old Jaloni Andrews of Lexington, was arrested at the scene and is facing a long list of related charges. They include speeding 15 + over limit, fleeing/evading 1st, wanton endangerment of a police officer 1st, reckless driving and other charges.
The incident occurred around 11:30 Friday night, May 12, 2023. Andrews is currently lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.
