Investigators with the Laurel County Sheriffs office, London City Police are investigating a murder that occurred at a residence off Old Crab Orchard Road approximately 1 1/2 miles north of London Friday afternoon December 2. Authorities say a dispute between two male subjects started around 4 o’clock and led to a shooting, leaving an adult male subject from London deceased.
The suspect, Bailey Smith, age 59, of East Bernstadt fled the scene, apparently armed with a pistol and has not been located. A murder warrant has been issued.
