The arrest occurred off Old Way, Road approximately 4 miles east of London after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance complaint.
According to reports 20 year old Blake Canada was not found at the scene of the assault but instead was apprehended during a traffic stop where officials report determining that Blake Canada allegedly had struck the female victim at the scene of the crime and pushed her down before leaving the crime area. Blake Canada was charged with assault 4th degree and lodged into the Laurel County Detention Center.
