The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest early this morning in London in connection to an automobile that was reported as stolen.
Police learned that the vehicle was potentially located in a garage next to a residence on Littontown Road. Upon arrival at the scene, a male subject at a residence next to the garage was questioned. During the interview, the subject informed police that the vehicle was located inside the garage.
Deputies secured permission to enter the garage from the landlord, before locating the reported stolen vehicle. Bobby Joe Elza of London was charged with Receiving Stolen Property ($10,000 or More) and was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
