Recently, Laurel County deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress complaint.
Reportedly, the deputies discovered a male subject, James F. Tankersley of London, at a business located on US 25W. According to the report, Tankersley was dropped off at the site by a female subject, Amy Jo Henderlight of Corbin, and had passed under a locked fence into a business there.
The male suspect was located inside the fenced area, and was allegedly taking items from the business. In addition, the two individuals were found in possession of meth, Suboxone, Xanax, Adavan, and marijuana according to the citation.
Tankersley was arrested and charged with 3rd Degree Burglary, 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance, multiple 3rd Degree counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Henderlight was also arrested and charged with 3rd Degree Complicity to Commit Burglary, 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance, and multiple 3rd Degree counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Tankersley and Henderlight were both lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
