The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled lane closures for two routes in Madison County. The temporary closures are necessary for base failure (asphalt) repairs and paving. Paving operations will begin once the base failure repairs have been completed.
- work is scheduled for Mon., Tue., Wed. and Thur. of each week during the hours of 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
- days and times for operations could be adjusted as deemed necessary
- one lane will be closed on each route with one lane open on each route for traffic
Thursday, April 7 through Thursday, April 28 – 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily
Moran Mill Road/KY 1295
- between the Madison-Garrard County line (milepoint 0.0) and Lancaster Road/KY 52 (milepoint 4.529)
Tates Creek Road/KY 169
- between Goggins Lane (milepoint 2.215) and Whitlock Road/KY 1985 (milepoint 7.898)
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
