Lance Attends The 2018 Citizens Police Academy – Episode 7

This week we learned about traffic stops. We also got some hands on experience with both low risk and high risk stops. A low risk stop is a standard traffic stop for something such as speeding. Even then officers are trained on how to properly approach the vehicle to keep themselves safe. We also were able to get first hand experience with high risk stops which are stops where the occupants of the vehicle are known to be armed and dangerous.
