Drivers who use KY 1411 (South Fork Road) in Lee County should prepare to use an alternate route on Wednesday, March 27.
The road will be closed at milepoint 4.5 for removal of trees adjacent to the road. This is approximately 0.4 miles south of KY 11, and is between Noe Mountain Road and the Beattyville city limits.
The closure will begin at 8 a.m. and will be in effect for six to eight hours.
No signed detour will be posted. Drivers can use KY 30 and KY 11 through Booneville as an alternate route to avoid the closure. Local roads are also available for use as detour routes.
In case of inclement weather, the work may be postponed.
Fewer than 250 vehicles use this section of KY 1411 each day.
