The Kentucky State Police Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) has been requested by KSP Post 7 Richmond to investigate a pedestrian-involved crash that occurred on Sept. 6, 2022, at approximately 10:40 a.m. EST in Clark County. Not many details have been released at this time, but a preliminary investigation indicates that a pedestrian received life-threatening injuries when he apparently stepped into the path of a vehicle traveling east on Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway around the 4-mile marker. The vehicle involved in the collision is registered to KSP.
