Today, February 10, 2023, just before 4:00 p.m., Kentucky State Police, Post 7, Richmond officials received a call from Bluegrass 911 requesting investigative assistance stating two individuals had been shot at a residence on Moccasin Road in Lincoln County.
According to early information in the preliminary report, KSP says evidence indicates Jamie Fowler, 51, was shot by Steven Hiter, 52, before turning the weapon on himself. Both were pronounced deceased at the scene by Lincoln County Coroner Ferris Marcum.
This is an ongoing investigation being conducted by KSP Post 7 Detective Storm Stevens. He was assisted on scene today by KSP personnel, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, and Lincoln County Coroner’s Office.
