KSP: Pedestrian dead following fatal collision in Powell County

A Clay City woman has died following an injury collision in Powell County on Sunday evening. Kentucky State Police say that 87-year-old Lorena Fugate was in the roadway when she was struck by a truck operated by 27-year-old Christopher Spencer. When emergency officials arrived at the scene, they located Fugate who had sustained fatal injuries as a result of the incident, and was pronounced dead by the Powell County Coroner. The collision remains under investigation by the KSP Morehead Post.
