Kentucky State Police issued a Golden Alert in Rockcastle County on Friday.
Kentucky State Police Post 11 is actively investigating a missing person’s case involving a Rockcastle County man with heart problems.
James Anthony Ackerman, 83 of Mount Vernon, was last seen at his residence early Friday around 11:00 AM. Mr. Ackerman reportedly left to go to Lowes in Somerset.
James Ackerman is described as a white male 5’11’’ tall, roughly 185 pounds, with gray hair. James left driving a 2015 White GMC Sierra Pickup, KY TAG 945-TGN.
