A tip from the public has led to the apprehension of a former Berea teacher’s aide accused having sexual relations with a minor student. Samantha Walker was taken into custody Monday night in Rockcastle County.
An indictment warrant was issued on October 14, 2025 for Walker in Madison County. The charges included Promoting Use of a Minor by electronic means, Use of a minor under 18, Rape third degree, Sodomy third degree, Sexual Abuse, first- degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Distribution of Obscene Matter to Minors, first degree.
Berea Police responded to Walker’s address of record last week, and discovered she no longer lived there. That’s when the agency went public asking for information pertaining to her whereabouts.
Walker will be transported back to Madison County now to face those charges.
