Kroger is working to help citizens get at least the basics they need following the bulk buying that quite a few consumers resort to in this time of stress.
The stores affected will immediately close all personal service in meat, fish, and salad counters. According to the press release; steaks, seafood, and lunch meat will be packaged overnight and placed in coolers for customer safety.
Kroger will also reduce hours and will operate from 7AM to 9PM. the store is limiting many household items to 3 per customer to give everyone a chance at purchasing the necessary products.
The press release adds that the company will be opening 500 positions for employees.
