You may have noticed that at Kroger the past couple of days things have changed. Following the lead of other stores the Richmond Kroger has changed their of operations and some policies that you need to be aware of.
On top of changing hours they are now allowing only 600 customers in the store at any time, they are using an electronic counting system to count customers and if they meet their total of 600 they will be allowing one customer in as one leave. They are also asking that only 1 family member come in and shop for the family. That is not only to keep your family safe but for the safety of the employees as well. The only entrance at this time will be the main entrance and after completing your shopping trip you exit through the pharmacy side of the building.
When you enter the store there are employees cleaning all shopping carts before you pick one. They are cleaning all carts as they are being brought back into the store from the parking lot. Also all registers and Uscans are being cleaned after each customer.
The store still has a limit on some items that you can purchase. They include Diapers, wipes, formula, hand soap sanitizer, Tylonol, alcohol, and vitamins. They are limited to 2 each during visit. There is also a limit of 3 to all paper towls, toilet paper, etc. At this time there is no limit on meat or other grocery items.
For those who wish to use the Kroger Click list pick up option be advised that there is currently a 3-7 day wait. Of course with the rise of Covid-19 many customers are choosing this option and the store just cannot keep up with the demand. Some items are not available through the click list a this time, you are asked to call if you have any questions on item availability.
The Pharmacy has changed their hours during this time as well, Monday/Tuesday 9am-7pm, Wednesday/Thursday 7am-7pm, Friday 9am-7, Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 11am through 5pm. They ask that if you have any questions to please call them. The Little Clinic has also adjusted their hours as well. Monday through Friday 8:30 am through 6:30 pm, Saturday 10:30 am through 4:30 pm and Sunday 10:30 am through 4:30. They will be closed for lunch during the week from 1:30-2:15 and 1:30 through 2:00 on the weekends.
The Starbucks inside Kroger remains open but their schedule has been adjusted to meet Kroger’s hours of operations.
