The Mercer County Animal Shelter is reporting an abandonment of a kitten by an unknown couple. The shelter identified the vehicle as a big, white truck with Colorado license plates and ‘New Orleans Saints’ across the top of the front windshield.
The post on social media goes on to say that the man yelled it wasn’t their kitten, then tossed the visibly terrified animal onto the porch of the shelter.
Luckily, a worker was there spending time with a dog today as they are closed for the MLK holiday. If anyone has information or identification of the couple in the truck, contact law enforcement.
