A Wolfe county transportation cabinet employee is now dead following a crash that occurred yesterday. The investigation by Kentucky state police shows that 48 year old John Fugate was killed around 1 pm yesterday when a vehicle crossed the center line and hit Fugate’s truck head on. The car at fault, which was on KY 205 at the time, was driven by Jamie Fallen. Fallen also suffered injuries, and had to be airlifted to UK medical center. However, Fugate was pronounced dead at the scene. The Kentucky transportation cabinet posted on social media today to express their condolences for the loss.
