A Mt. Vernon man is now facing twelve years in prison following a yearlong investigation by Kentucky State Police.
KSP say 55-year-old Freddie Denny was found guilty in Rockcastle Circuit Court on multiple drug trafficking charges on July 9th. The investigation began in early 2024 and led to Denny being found guilty of three counts of Trafficking in Controlled Substance charges. One count carries a sentence of five years and the other two carry sentences of seven years each.
The court ordered the five-year and seven-year sentences to run concurrently within their respective categories, and consecutively between them, resulting in a total of 12 years incarceration. Denny is scheduled for his final sentencing on August 8, 2025.
