Kentuckians may soon be allowed to ship their favorite wine from out-of-state to their doorstep.
Kentucky is one of the only five states that bans wine shipping.
The state legislature are considering a bill that would change that. The Senate Bill 99 was passed by the state Senate and now is in the House.
The law would allow wine shipped to Kentuckians directly to their doors and wineries to offer more to their customers in state. It also legalizes shipping 24 cases of wine annually to wine lovers in Kentucky.
The state would benefit as well, by receiving taxes.
