It is not going to warm up just yet, and according to the Madison County Sheriff’s office, the vast majority of the calls they have received in this single digit weather is in regards to the welfare of animals.
WBON-TV followed up with Nick Werle of W & W Veterinarian services to get cold weather expert information on not just livestock and horses, but also your cats and dogs as well.
Werle said that his business routinely receives calls about cats and dogs left in the cold, and gave us some tips on how to care for these domesticated pets as well.
