The two victims that were found burned beyond recognition in a remote part of Jackson county last week have been identified. According to officials, 28 year old Whitney Venable and 35 year old Joe Marcum were discovered dead at the scene outside of Sandgap.
One was inside the burned vehicle and the other was located nearby outside. State police have announced that the investigation is still pending, and it is still unknown if there were suspicious circumstances surrounding the death investigation.
