She refused to give up her seat on a bus months before Rosa Parks’s more famous protest.
Colvin was a part of the Supreme Court case Browder vs. Gayle, which led to the integration of public transportation in America. Watch the video to hear Trizdon Reynolds speak to the famous woman who as a young lady had an integral part in this country’s history.
