WBON-TV9 first reported three people lost their lives in Madison County during Saturdays flash flooding.
Two of the people have now been positively identified as John Powell age 57. Powell and another female were pronounced deceased at the scene of 306 University Drive, where they reportedly lived in a rented basement.
Next of kin have been hard to locate for the female, Patricia Beck, who also resided at 306 University Drive.
Garnett Isbell, age 73, of Whitlock Drive in Richmond also died when his vehicle was overtaken by flood waters on Tates Creek Road.
The Madison County Coroner’s Office is asking the public’s help in locating the next of kin for Patricia Beck. Ms. Beck is 51 years of age and was living in Richmond, KY. If you have information, please contact 859-624-4752.
