Virgil Gardner is a pastor at Pleasant Green Predestinarian Baptist Church and a member of the Richmond Human Rights Commission. In our interview with him, he told us that unity is important and compared a community to a chain. He said that a unified community is a strong chain but if you take a link out it becomes weak. He went on to say that he thinks everyone should be looked at as a human being and that nobody should be looked down upon.
