Today in Downtown Richmond, Citizens Gathered outside of the Courthouse to honor the American flag for this years flag day
During the Ceremony, Boy scout troop 2014 retired the old flag in front of the Courthouse. Before hoisting a new one The troop Explained the Meaning of Each fold in the 13 folds of the U.S. Flag.
Also, Richmond Mayor Jim Barnes gave a speech informing the audience of the symbolism behind the words in the pledge of allegiance
