In honor of Veteran’s Day, multiple local businesses provided free meals and services to those who have served our county. Texas roadhouse in Richmond was one of these, which had a line out the door with veterans claiming their free lunch in honor of their service. Wbontv spoke with veteran David Gannon, who says that those who wish to buy honor bricks at the Richmond American Legion post can still do so for the newly minted memorial in front of the building on Keeneland drive.
WBONtv visited the post, and also spoke to multiple Air Force veterans who told their stories and invited all to come out to the post to join the camaraderie.
You can watch their personal testimonials here, and for more information anyone is invited to come out to the post at any time to join. Head Cecil Walker adds that yearly dues are only $40, and they are always taking on new recruits as well as hosting events every weekend.
