Multiple reports of Heroin overdoses were received by police last Friday July 7, 2023, in Madison County. After initiating an investigating, police conducted a search warrant for a residence at 303 Brooks Road in Richmond around 4 am Saturday.
Police say even more complaints were gathered regarding this location as their investigation continued that morning. The search of the home reportedly yielded scales, suspected meth and heroin, and other paraphernalia associated with the sale of drugs.
According to the citation, the female suspect already had two other active warrants for her arrest.
Taken into custody was 57-year-old Cristina Denny. She is facing trafficking and possession charges, as well as probation violations for felony offenses. She was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.
