The Madison County Health Department issued their daily COVID report at noon on Tuesday, showing 19 new cases within the past 24 hours. There are now 85 active cases of the virus at this time.
Compared to 0 new cases reported Sunday, the Health Department says this is the usual Monday bump. However, they add that overall, the 7-day average for Madison Countians with COVID is down.
The Health Department adds that Madison County is only 32.85% vaccinated at this time. They urge all to schedule a vaccine appointment with the Health Department online at https://bit.ly/3tfyyzO.
Currently, appointments are available for Wednesday, May 5th in Richmond.
