A large police and fire presence converged on Chestnut Street in Berea tonight and evacuated a Greyhound bus.
Berea Police and Fire personnel responded to the scene around 7:30 tonight.
According to our sources, after some minor issues with the bus, passengers reported smelling smoke. This resulted in the passengers being unloaded while fire crews could assess the situation. It was ultimately determined no fire or danger to passengers was present. The entire ordeal was quickly assessed and the passengers were allowed to reboard and continue on.
