EKU kicked off a new sports season this Saturday with the annual Fan Day celebration. Members of fall sports including football, cheerleading, and soccer were available for a family fun day that included games and inflatables for the kids and an autograph session for all who attended. This year’s activities had to be moved inside Alumni Coliseum due to the threat of inclement weather. WBON TV had the opportunity to speak with President Benson as well as several student-athletes about the upcoming semester and sporting events. EKU football will kick off their season next Thursday against Morehead State University.
