This morning a structure fire was reported in the Buckeye community of Garrard County.
The fire was reported by a homeowner around 3 a.m. according to the Buckeye Fire Department.
Firefighters arrived to a fully involved structure that had spread to the unattached garage.
Heavy accumulations of snow and hazardous road conditions presented more challenges for responding units.
After over 3 hours on scene, units were able to extinguish the fire with no injuries reported by first responders or the property owners.
Buckeye Fire Dept. was assisted by District One FD, Lancaster City FD, Cartersville FD, Camp Dick FD, Garrard County EMS, Garrard County Sheriff’s Dept. and Garrard County EMA.
