A single vehicle injury collision on KY 1295 near Hurt Lane involving a Garrard County School bus occurred around 1 pm today, August 11th.
According to a post by the Garrard County Sheriff’s Office, no students were on board the bus at the time of the collision.
The operator of the school bus, Steve Moore age 64 of Lancaster, was pronounced deceased at the scene by Garrard County Coroner Shane Young.
The cause of this collision is currently under investigation by GCSO/JCSO reconstruction units.
GCSO was assisted at the scene by multiple local agencies. GCEMA, GCEMS, Lancaster Fire, District 1 Fire.
