FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT 10 PM THIS EVENING UNTIL 10 AM EDT SATURDAY…
ESTILL-JACKSON-ROCKCASTLE- POWELL-LEE AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES.
Low temperatures will range from the mid 20s to lower 30s. The coldest temperatures will be in valleys, and the mildest readings will be on the ridges. The Freeze Warning is for portions of east central, northeast, south central and southeast Kentucky.
The Freeze Warning is in effect from 10 PM this evening to 10 AM Saturday. Frost and freezing temperatures will kill sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

Take steps now to protect sensitive plants from the cold. To prevent freezing and possible bursting of outdoor plumbing, i tshould be protected, drained, or allowed to drip slowly.
