In honor of Valentine’s Day, Kentucky River Foothills Development Council, Inc.is offering free rides to patrons of any of its transit services this Thursday, February 14. Complimentary transportation will be provided on the Berea Bus Service, Richmond Transit Service, BIG E Transit (EKU), and Winchester-Clark County Transit Service.
During the #ILoveMyLocalTransit promotion all riders will have the opportunity to enter into special drawings for free transit tickets (city routes). Prizes will also be given away randomly throughout the day.
KRFDC is asking riders to post a photo of themselves riding the bus on social media using the hashtag #ILoveMyLocalTransit. The best photo that tells everyone why they love transit will win 10 free bus passes for the transit system of their choice.
