
A woman was arrested Monday after causing a four-vehicle injury traffic crash while under the influence in Laurel County.
The incident occurred at around 9 P.M. off W. Laurel Road, approx. one and a half miles west of London.
43-year-old Jacqueline Thurmond of London was driving her silver Pontiac G6 when she allegedly struck three other vehicles.
Further investigations revealed that Thurmond was under the influence.
Thurmond was arrested with multiple charges including first offense failure of owner to maintain required insurance, first offense operating a motor vehicle under the influence, and first-degree assault. She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
