Following the tragic passing of Scottie Ernst on Tuesday, funeral arrangements have now officially been set for the former Mayor of Stanford.
Visitations for Ernst will be held this upcoming Sunday, July 19th from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. as well as on Monday, July 20th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The visitations will take place at Stanford Baptist Church located on Church Street.
Ernst’s funeral will also be held at Stanford Baptist Church immediately following the conclusion of the Monday visitation. A burial ceremony is scheduled for Monday at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford.
Ernst served on Stanford’s City Council for almost 15 years before being elected Mayor in 2018.
