Senate Republican Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has another opponent in the upcoming 2020 senate race, and his name is Mike Broihier.
Broihier, who is a former U.S. Marine, announced his campaign in a video which was uploaded to his YouTube account, Mike For KY. In the video, Broihier offers hard-hitting criticisms of McConnell and acknowledges his status as a relative newcomer to the political arena.
The Wisconsin native faces fellow Democratic challengers, at this moment, such as retired Marine Lieutenant Colonel Amy McGrath and Greenville, KY native Steven Cox in the primaries.
