Following the death of Woodford County Judge-Executive and former Sheriff John Coyle, food donations are being accepted in his honor. Friends and family of Coyle are asking for donations to the local food pantry, and can be dropped off at the Woodford County Sheriff’s Office, Versailles Police Department, Shelter Insurance as well as Workout Anytime location. All donations will be given to local food pantries, and will be dropped off at the end of January. Coyle served in the position for 11 years, and had a long career in law enforcement before his appointment as Judge-Executive.
