FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 AM EST THIS MORNING
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring in portions of EAST CENTRAL Kentucky and SOUTH CENTRAL Kentucky, including the following areas, Garrard and Madison and Lincoln.
Until 1145 AM EST. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. At 841 AM EST, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. – Additional rainfall amounts of up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. – Some locations that will experience flooding include… Richmond, Stanford, Lancaster, Mccreary, Berea, Crab Orchard, Hustonville, Manse, Hackley and Paint Lick.
