UPDATE: family is in motel room via American Red Cross, but has started a gofundme as their home was a total loss. From the page:
“My mom, step dad and sisters came home to their only home up in flames. They have literally lost everything except the clothes they were wearing. Gracie and Ricky are diabetic. All their supplies were inside for that. Everything literally but what was on their back. If anyone would rather meet me, for even just a T-shirt. Please don’t hesitate to call/text. 859-575-0848. Thank you so much! Thank God no one was injured.”
There was an early morning fire at Stoney Run Road at a residence with two adults and two children. Firefighters had water issues with tanker trucks freezing up while fighting the fire. Home was fully involved with smoke and fire, and was declared a total loss.
All were able to get out of the home safely.
