Early this Thursday morning, May 11, 2023, around 2 a.m. a single vehicle accident resulted in the death of a Winchester man. 27-year-old Brent Edward Crump of Winchester was pronounced dead at the scene by Madison County Coroner Jimmy Cornelison.
The accident occurred on Red House Road, approximately one and a half miles from Union City Road. Reportedly, it took over an hour for emergency workers to extricate the victim from the wreckage. No reason for the crash has been determined. Crumps body is undergoing toxicology tests.
Crump is “leaving behind 2 beautiful girls, a grieving family, and friends who miss him tremendously,” said Donna Willoughby, fundraiser organizer for the family. The fundraiser in question is being held on GoFundMe and aims to help the family pay for funeral arrangements for Crump.
