In an update in the early hours of Sunday morning, the Madison County Sheriff’s Department reported Scarlett Hayes was located safe Saturday evening in Rockcastle County.
The Department thanked the Kentucky State Police, Rockcastle Sheriff’s Office, Mount Vernon Police Department and all those who shared and sent information.

A family in Madison County is seeking assistance with any information to find their daughter.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office got the missing persons report August 13th, and are currently trying to locate 14 year old Scarlett Grace Hayes.
The family tells WBON that Scarlett left home on Tuesday August 12th around 11:30 pm leaving Deacon Hills.
Authorities say she may have gotten into a blue mustang when she left her residence. Scarlett was last seen wearing a white hoody and black sweatpants.
