Estill County fire department responded to a blaze around 630 Thursday night, which resulted in an addition to a mobile home being declared a total loss. According to Chief Derrick Muncie, firefighters arrived on Congelton Way near the bottom of the Barnes Mountain area to find an addition attached to the residence engulfed. They believe the fire was electrical related. The mobile home itself only incurred smoke damage. No injuries were reported.
