The Kentucky State Police, Post 7 in Richmond, was notified today by the U.S. Marshals Service that Jeffrey Harrison was apprehended just before 3:00 p.m. in Lexington.
Mr. Harrison was charged with Escape, 2nd Degree and has been lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
Jeffrey Harrison, 43, escaped custody during transport the morning of July 8, 2025 from the Estill County Courthouse, and fled the area in his orange jumpsuit. He has remained at large until today.
