An Estill County Constable was arrested today, Wednesday November 15, 2023, in Jackson County by Kentucky State Police.
73-year-old J.P. Barnes, the longtime Constable for District 2 in Estill County, that includes the White Oak area of the county, is facing several charges. Those include, driving under the influence, reckless driving, no proof of registration, and no registration plates, among others.
Barnes was lodged in the Jackson County Detention Center.
