The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is advising motorists of continued work for the EKU pedway. Scheduled lane closures are necessary for the operations.
Currently and until 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 23 through Friday, May 26 – 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. daily The Eastern Bypass/KY 876 single lane closures will be in effect between Lancaster Avenue (milepoint 8.15) and Veterans Boulevard (milepoint 8.33).
The lane closures will shift at various times during the days of work lanes closures will be both east and westbound motorists will be able to pass through the work zone All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
