Today, Friday, July 7, 2023, Eastern Kentucky University announced they are making a movie, and you could be a part of the production!
The University is in search of extras from the Richmond area for the film. That could be students or community members. Everyone will have the opportunity to be featured as extras in the proposed made-for-TV movie that will be filmed on EKU’s campus as well as the surrounding Richmond areas. Anyone auditioning should be 18 years old or older.
According to EKU, scenes including extras will feature people involved in various activities. Like milling around campus, attending social gatherings, eating at local restaurants, moving into the residence halls, hanging out in local coffee shops and the like. All the roles for extras will be ”nonspeaking.”
Filming starts soon and will take place from July 10 to July 26. Below are the links for students and another link for general public to fill out for consideration.
