This Friday and Saturday is Commencements at EKU’s Alumni Coliseum in Richmond and traffic will be affected on the Eastern Bypass, so expect some delays. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 7 reports, local police will be directing traffic at the following intersections for high school graduations scheduled at the EKU Alumni Coliseum:
• the bypass at KY 52/Lancaster Ave (milepoint 8.15)
• the bypass at Veterans Boulevard/Alumni Coliseum (milepoint 8.32)
• the bypass at Kit Carson Dr. (milepoint 8.53)
The times will be:
Friday, May 27 – 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.Saturday, May 28 – 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Plan on increased traffic and expect possible delays.
