On Friday afternoon in Posey Auditorium in the Stratton Building at EKU, there was a surprise graduation for a military online student, Lieutenant Amy Blades-Langjahr.
Lieutenant Blades-Langjahr technically graduated in December of last year, but due to military obligations she has been unable to make it to EKU to graduate and is unable to make it again this May.
However, Lieutenant Blades-Langjahr stopped by Richmond during a military move today. The College of Justice and Safety threw together this surprise graduation for her and the moment was captured by WBONtv today.
Lieutenant Blades-Langjahr does not regret taking the online course as it helped her take care of her other responsibilities such as family, and military duties.
