A Richmond man was taken into custody following an investigation into possible sodomy charges with a minor spanning multiple years. According to the warrant provided to WBONTV, Brock M. Johnson of Elmwood Drive was taken into custody March 28th by the Richmond Police Department and charged with first degree sodomy of a victim under 12 year of age/incapable of consent/physically helpless with serious physical injury.
The documents state that Johnson was accused by the defendant of abuse from August of 2018 to August of 2020, where he allegedly engaged in sexual acts with his girlfriend’s nine-year-old daughter. Police say that the victim described the occasions of abuse in detail, starting when she was in Kindergarten.
Also arrested was Sherri Ingram of Richmond for hindering prosecution, first degree as she had allegedly admitted to lying to police when she attempted to hide Johnson in her residence. Police report that the two waited to let police in the home when the warrants were being served.
Both were lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.
